These semi-permanent eyelash extensions give the appearance of longer, thicker and curlier eyelashes, which last between 1 and 2 months before a fill-in is required. The extensions do not need to be removed between sets. This is the perfect treatment for holidays, weddings or just for everyday use, if your lashes are naturally short and straight.
The method involves applying the lash extensions one by one to each natural lash. The lash extensions come in different lengths and thicknesses, so the most suitable variations will be picked for you personally.

The procedure is painless, gentle and relaxing. You are required to lay down with your eyes shut for a length of time; for a full set this will be roughly 2 1/2 hours, for a half set this will be 1-1 ½ hours and for a lash top-up this will be 30-45 minutes.
Eyelash extensions do not damage the natural lashes, and if looked after correctly should not cause any excess loss of lashes. The extensions are only attached to the natural lash and not to any skin around the eye.
This means that they will fall out along with your natural lashes, the average life cycle of a single natural lash being 90 days.
The extensions will need to be topped-up after around 2 months with proper care and maintenance. If you are a regular wearer of eye make-up, it is likely that a top-up will be needed after a month/month and a half.
The brand of eyelash extensions I prefer to use is' Marvel-lash'.  They are almost weightless and so comfortable to wear that they look and feel just like your own.

After Care for Eyelash Extensions:
  • Eyelash Perming
  • Avoid use of saunas, jacuzzis, steam rooms, sunbeds, hot showers for 48 hours.
  • Avoid wearing eye make-up for at least 24 hours.
  • Avoid rubbing lashes and eyes
  • Use only an OIL-FREE eye make-up remover if make-up must be worn and do not rub hard when removing it.
  • Do not use mechanical lash curlers.
  • Do not attempt to remove lashes by pulling them as this will pull out the natural lashes.
  • Do not wear mascara unless it is specifically for eyelash extensions.
  • When cleaning the eye area, do so gently and gently pat with a clean towel afterwards.
